    [Highly rated reviewer]

I'm not going to spoil this for you, but its set in several capital city's and the cinematography is first class.

Ewan's day is like most, work at nine home when the jobs done. But one day he has a spliff with his really nice boss, and things go from wired to eerie quick.

Before he knows it hes got his boss's phone by mistake and is in with the in crowd. He falls for a woman he meets by answering his boss's phone (who's in a swingers club like all the woman are in this film). Hes happy and about to accept his new found happiness when suddenly, yes you guessed it, she dies.( -well actually disappears)

In come the police and your attention turns to the nice boss, who reached out to Ewan to help improve his life or did he?

Be ready for some serious twists.

This is Ewan doing some fine method acting as we are drawn into a world of seedy underground expensive sex clubs. Disappearances, greed and exploitation.

    All portrait with though.

A top class movie, well done to all the cast and crew.

    4/5 RSebire

I agree with most other reviews that this is quite a good film, I liked Ewan McGregor's character and of course love Michelle Williams, The acting was pretty good overall. The plot was a little bit thin, I felt and failed to excite. However I enjoyed the ending. Fairly safe to recommend this for easy viewing.

  • What a load of unmitigated cobblers

I don't think I need to say much else after all my title says it all. Well, actually it doesn't. Ewan McGregor is a weak actor and this shows up all the cracks. The blonde drip who he apparently falls for seems to have notrhing going for her other than mewing lips and a gormless look.

The whole script screamed what was going to happen from the first moment and anyone who was in the slightest bit surprised cannot have a pulse.

Absolutely a waste of my time.

    Avoid like the plague.

I like Ewan McG in pretty much everything he does, he can play the computer geek/journalist/ordinary guy very well. I havent seen Hugh Jackman in many things because I dont like the X Men/Superhero genre so I was pleased to get to see him in a 'normal' film. A good paced film and a good plot, nice sweet ending awww!!!!

Overall a very good effort by the actors with a script that was left a bit wanting. The first hour of the film, great! Found it very watchable and think the chemsitry between the two leads with Michelle Williams supporting worked well but that was the first hour. The next 35 mins - the climax was rushed, predictable and to be honest rather shambolic. It was a real shame as it could have been so much more with one more twist which we were not expecting but unfortunatly there were none and it fell flat. Worth watching but don't expect to be blown away by it.
