Definately NOT on my Christmas list....

This is entertaining enough and has a few laughs, but the falling out with the neighbour / wife / family and BIG christmas make up idea makes for a completely cliched and tired story. This will be worth it only if the turkeys in and you are desparate for a diversion for an hour and a half. Otherwise give this a miss... you could guage how good it was, in our screening people of all ages were leaving half way through, and those that stayed were becoming fidgety. It's fun-ish but not uniquely entertaining for either kids or adults... Santa... give this the sack.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Christmas fun.......
By johnnyb78 (79 reviews) from Swindon , 03 Jul 2011I don't agree with any of the reviews that say this film is rubbish. I think it is a harmless feel good family christmas film. It is good fun and the 4 leads all work really well together particularly the wonderful Kristin Chenoweth as Tia Hall and as a plus we get to here her sing at the end. Danny DeVito is on form, as ever. it's nice and christmassy.- Was this review helpful to you?
