A bit of a letdown

I am a huge fan of the BBC and David Attenborough in particular - sadly this could definitely have done with his input (or in fact anyone with some knowledge of the natural world)... The photography (as one would expect) was quite astonishing, and for that the crew deserve congratulations. However, the narration was simplistic at best, and the complete lack of any information turned the DVD into basically a screensaver.

Beautiful but empty. Shame really. Maybe they could redo it with someone actually saying something useful over it.... 'Deep Blue - The Retake?'
