Cop-out
By brassodin (20 reviews) from GOSBERTON WESTHORPE, SPALDING , 16 Dec 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I have a real interset in Marine ecosystems having done a degree in it and have watched a number of nature documentarys, including David Attenboroughs 'Blue Planet'. So when I heard of this dvd being released i was very excited as it is made by the same people who brought us the 'Blue Planet' series. However, it turned out to be a complete cop-out as it is only a complilation of the best bits taken from the 'Blue Planet' series (4 disc set). I would advise anyone thinking of getting this to forget it, and just stick to the original 'Blue Planet' series on dvd, as everything on these two dvd's are on the 4 disc set, along with much, much more stuff; and it is narrated by the man himself.- Was this review helpful to you?

BORING!!!
By a customer from EDINBURGH , 30 Jun 2007This was meant to be a great documentary but i found it boring. The footage was great but the commentary was lacking with little info about the species or their habits and habitats. It was basically about watching lovely picture being repeated over and over again. Not recommended- Was this review helpful to you?
