    Defying Gravity

This film is a real feel-good movie, and I highly recommend it. The central story surrounds a young man coming to terms with his sexuality, but its appeal is more wide-ranging than a traditional 'gay' movie. Themes of friendship and loyality play out among these highly charged young men. There are no graphic scenes of sexuality. It is thought-provoking, and will stay in your mind long after you have watched it.

    American Teen TV Tripe

Utter tosh. A cast of absurdly good looking male models (all pushing 30) play a bunch of American college-boy types but - yo, dudes!! - two of em' are like GAY!!!! The 'gay' characters are unrecognisable to any real gay person and the whole thing is just an attempt to give gay issues the Dawson's Creek treatment. This clearly originates from American TV - ad breaks and all - and nonsense like this just exists to reassure the American mainstream that gay people are JUST like US after all!!! With all the diversity, energy, creativity and fire that the REAL gay world has to offer, this contrived, sterotype baloney just seems like a load of empty propaganda.
