When a ferry filled with crewmen from the USS Nimitz and their families is blown up in New Orleans, Federal Agent Doug Carlin (Washington) is brought in to help with the investigation. He becomes attached to an experimental FBI surveillance unit that uses spacefolding technology to look back a little over four days into the past. While tracking down the bomber Carlin gets an idea in his head: could they use the device to actually travel back in time and not only prevent the bombing but also the murder of a local woman whose truck was used in the atrocity?

Put another way, if Denzel Washington picks up a script and says yes, you are surely going to have a film that is worth a watch anyway, aren't you ?
I was not expecting to like this film but I did. It has it's fair share science bits, though it does not expect you understand them just accept them.
It was pacey, exciting and entertaining. A feel good action thriller is rare to find, so this was a great film to discover.

Deja Vu sees Scott and Washington team up once again, as they previously worked together in 2004's crime thriller, Man on Fire. Tony Scott -... Read more
