Demolition Man

If you are you are an 90s fan you should watch this treat . The plot is dull so it dosnt get a 5 star .The elements in this is thrilling , exciting , and even funny at times, i mean Wesley snipes makes this very good and Stallone is him self if you like the good old days then you should enjoy demolition man .I would recommend this to any viewer and buy this from amazon there is allot of god reviews and the case is even good .Demolition man is highly enjoyable, mindless and fun , pure popcorn 90s entertainment .85.0 / 10.0 .Just t inform that this film has 15 certificate for Graphic action violence / language / mild sexual content . This ones good. Great christmas watch and gift .

The nineties were famous for its action movies and the heroes who punched and shot their way through them. In the ‘friendly’ rivalry between Stallone and Schwarzenegger, they both had their hits and misses. Demolition Man was not Stallone’s biggest hit, but, then again, it certainly wasn’t a miss.

Watching it nearly twenty years after it was made is still a joy. It’s still, loud, proud, blatantly tongue-in-cheek in places and a great watch. Stallone is the cop, frozen in time along with his arch criminal nemesis, Snipes, and both of them defrosted in a (supposedly) utopian future, only to rage havoc once again.

There are plenty of jokes to go alongside the action and Sandra Bullock is great as the plucky lead (and you can see why her performance led on to her true breakthrough role in Speed a year later). And Nigel Hawthorne should also get a nod for his ‘futuristic version of Sir Humphrey’ in San Angeles – great to see such a serious character actor trading insults with Hollywood’s hard men!

If you like your action movies fun and light-hearted then Demolition Man stands up to the test of time. It may not be Rambo, Rocky or the Terminator franchise, but it deserves its place in nineties-action history (even if just for making the audience ask the question ‘Just what exactly was the deal with the ‘three seashells’?).

A classic silvester stallone movie hillarious and makes u think about freedom...how do the 3 sea shells work? Because its a oldie some of the dates seem a bit unrealistic but tht adds to the humor if ur into guns stallone and like a good chuckle with ur action packed movie this is one to watch :)

Great and good fun movie. Very advance for its time and loads of action! The movie is easy to get into and funny in parts. Money was spent on this and is no budget action film. I would definitely recommend this to someone

I hadn't seen this in years, but it's a very good film.

Stallone in an action-packed movie which at times is very funny. The comedy side of it is great and well balanced with the other aspects of the film.

Does go to show that we shouldn't take the freedoms we have now for granted, but we should learn to exercise them in the right way, place and time or else they'll be taken away.

Very much enjoyed the idea of a 'swear alarm', consistently used throughout the film, even during action sequences! Certainly a good idea for a drinking game at an old movies night with friends...!
