I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition...

A shady magazine publisher stages mock black mass rituals. A defrocked priest who is also an escapee from an asylum is on a mission to rid people of the devil within them. When he sees what he thinks is the real sacrifice of a girl, he goes after the participants.
This is a pretty decent piece of exploitation cinema from 1974. The gore content is not high, but there is plenty of naked flesh on display and the cast includes the legendary Lina Romay (of 'Female Vampire' fame).
As is often the case with foreign films such as this, the dubbed English dialogue is poor; subtitles would have been a better option.- Was this review helpful to you?

Madness and Mediocrity

Not because of the content - a crazy priest, bondage, murder - but because it's so poorly done. Even Lina Romay can't save it. She tries - my God she's beautiful - but Jess Franco, who casts himself as the lunatic priest, didn't clearly go to film school.- Was this review helpful to you?
