  News emerged today that Tom Hanks has confirmed he will reprise his role as professor Robert Langdon in a prequel to The Da Vinci Code, a thriller based on the bestselling book by Dan Brown. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hanks and director Ron Howard will both return for Angels and Demons, again based on a book by Brown and featuring another mysterious murder connected to an ancient religious group.   A prequel to The Da Vinci Code is to star Naomi Watts opposite Tom Hanks, it emerged today. Angels and Demons will be the second film to feature Hanks as Robert Langdon, a university professor thrust into a web of conspiracy and intrigue as he tries to decipher a set of clues linked to the Holy Grail.
