As a great fan of Dennis Potter I wanted to revisit this film as it was a long time ago that I first saw it. It did not disappoint me. The excellent acting with the Forest of Dean accents - do not be put off with the actors playing the parts of children, that is all part of Potter's unique art form.
when it came out it was 5 star but it has not stood thetest of time. gave up with it this time around.
