    Excellent

did not catch the first series but heard people raving about them. Now, having seen the first 4 episodes I can say it's one of the most intelligent, funny and good tv series of all times. Now I understand what the fuss is all about!

brilliant series, am waiting with baited breath for next series, in Oct/Nov

this was so addictive that I couldn't wait until the next episode each week, so had to watch on preview channel and watch again the following week.....and so on.

Witty, mystery, murder, passion, deceit, and all watched and narrated by the dead friend to all the other wives!!

if you enjoyed footballers wives you'll find this even better!!!

    roll on OCTOBER!!

    Desperatly Funny

A comic & ironic look at the lives of housewives on one street in the suburbs of America. There is romance, intrigue, sinister characters and uncanny realistic situations. A 'soap' opera that is good to watch.

    What a disappointment

My girlfriend and I started to watch this series just by chance and we quickly got drag into it. However, after having watched the whole series 1 I must say I'm so so disappointed. I was convinced that series 1 was made in such a way that can be watched without than having to watch series 2. But no, not at all!!! The last episode of series 1 ends in a way so that the director can pick up and start making season 2 right from the point where he left. So, if you are not prepared to spend another 16 hours on watching season 2, DO NOT EVEN BOTHER!!! I now regard all this time as totally wasted. What's the point of watching something that's not going to end, because there is going to be season 3, 4 and 5!! STAY AWAY, DO NOT WASTE THOSE 16 HOURS!!

    Enjoyable

I wasn't sure what to expect at first, just another cheesy american soap. But it has a darker edge and the characters grow on you. I enjoyed the light hearted escape from dreary life in the Midlands!

    Desperately Lacking

After a promising start on the first disc I personally feel this series falls flat on its face.

The voiceover of the narrator is intrusive and irritating. Most of the characters are dull and not very engaging and the whole thing is just too American.

Maybe it's because I'm a man and this series target audience is clearly the fairer sex but I am not a fan. For this reason I rate it as "unwatchable"...

A must see for ALL housewives. desperate or not

I missed this series the first time around as it was on at the wrong time, so the chance to watch the whole lot at once and see what all the fuss was about was really exciting.

It really is a good show with a little bit of everything. The street is amazing and makes you want to live the american dream and all the women are so different you wonder why they are friends at all.

Have just finished disc 3 and not in the least bit bored yet. Can't wait to see where the strange plots are going.

Highly recommended for some high class, mindless viewing!!

    EXCELLENT!

I missed season one the first time round on T.V but ive been a mad fan from season 2, it was gr8 to be able to watch them all from the start, i never really understood the whole Mary Alice Voice over but now im once again hooked! I really enjoyed getting to see how all the characters came to Whisteria Lane! And a little bit of Jesse Metcalf topless never hurt anyone :) Gr8 *****
