    superb..................

    this series is superb. this dvd has the complete episodes from the third series of 'Detectives'. Detective Constables Bob Louis and David Briggs, demonstrate the art of being inefficient, and totally unreliable policemen.

    the episodes are: D.C. of love, Flash, Art Attack, On Thin Ice, Between A Rock And A Hard Place and Twitchers.

    In D. C. of Love, Bob is in love with one of the new Female intakes. Dave asks her out and Bob goes out of his way to get revenge. Meanwhile the hapless Detectives have to investigate a series of murders with a strange connection.

    In Flash, the boys are asked to question the local madman 'Flash Gordon' there is a slight mix up, and they are interviewing the son of a duke, who's been found in posession of weed. The comedy comes about, because it takes them so long to work out, that they are both talking about different things.

    In Art Attack, a concept artist has his masterpiece stolen. A fish tank containing a tin of peaches and a pair of Spanish maracas in four gallons of his own urine. However through his co-artist grassing, it turns out that he makes loads of them, and sells them to people as the 'only one'.

    In On Thin Ice, the female english Ice skating entry, is days away from the European finals in London, when her manager attacks her, breaking her leg, because he wants his girlfriend to take her place. Orders from above tell them to let the manager go, however Briggs and Louie are sent to follow his every move. Until they are told to close the case. Briggs and Louie however, decide to ignore their orders and pursue the case.

    In Between A Rock And A Hard Place, Frank Cotham's once oldest friend Ronnie, committed a crime and fled to Spain, and this has haunted Frank ever since. Until he learns that Ronnie's daughter, is currently in Gibraltar (the English territory). Frank knows Ronnie will risk crossing the border to meet his daughter, so flies to Gibraltar to finish the job, he failed to do 30 years before, and 'nick' him. However Briggs & Louie are in Gibraltar too, because they appeared on TV's Bullseye and won a holiday there. He enrols them to help him catch Ronnie. However there's a good twist to the end of this tale!!

    In Twitchers, a rare bird has been found to have laid some eggs, on a remote island off the coast of England. Briggs & Louie are sent to guard the nest 24 hours a day. Professor Rose, sees the pair for what they are, and takes the eggs into his own safe keeping. Briggs & Louie however, doctor some chicken eggs, to hide the fact that the original eggs are gone.

    well worth renting out.

    A MUST SEE

    Brilliant just what you need for these cold dark nights to cheer you up louie and briggs never fail!!!!
