this series is superb. this dvd has the complete episodes from the fourth series of 'Detectives'. Detective Constables Bob Louis and David Briggs, demonstrate the art of being inefficient, and totally unreliable policemen.
the episodes are: The Great Escape, Fur Coat, No Knickers, Back To Class, Sacked and The Wembley Stadium Mystery.
my son Joseph's favourite episode on this dvd is 'The Great Escape.' Briggs & Louis are handcuffed to Harry the great escaper while he's on a train back to prison and he tries to escape again, leaving the trio stranded on the Yorkshire moors.
Another great episode is in 'Fur Coat, No Knickers'. Out in the country a group live their working lives, pretending to be warriors and famous faces from the dark ages. They re-enact the battle of talfager for entertainment for tourists.
During just another daily re-enactment, one of the warriors really does get stabbed and the motive was intentional. Briggs & Louis are sent to find the murderer, who a witness says was wearing underpants, under his costume, But all Briggs & Louis's minds are focused on, are figuring out the chiefs weekly football quiz.. mayhem ensues.
well worth renting out.
you just can't help yourself but laugh - good clean humour that all the family can enjoy - if you enjoyed the first three series then you will enjoy these just as much
