Brilliant, but not as good as the first two seasons...

I'm a huge fan of Dexter, I think the programmes genius! Every season is full of unexpected twists and turns. Though I believe this is fairly dull, enjoyable, but dull compared to the other seasons. Not great, but worth a watch!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Gets better and better!!

Dexter Shmexter
By EastonMackay (6 reviews) from Rye , 30 Aug 20125 1/2 Stars? I'm puzzled by how this could be. Series one was fresh, dark, edgy, humorous in the right places and had a thoroughly well rounded storyline as well as sub-plots.
This simply isn't the case with series 3 (series 2 isn't exempt from criticism either) this feels like a pg-13 Dexter with the main story for the season feeling sparse and tired.
I found myself not feeling nearly as invested in Dexter and its cast as I were initially and a new character (even if he is played by Jimmy Smits) isn't nearly enough to rectify this . . .- Was this review helpful to you?
