An average movie when compared with chak de india. The movie doesn't have the seriousness and lost its pace all the way. Story is about southall united foot ball club and was totally shot in london.
The plot was predictable and lacked any imagination. But the worst thing about this movie was the blatant racism. The movie was pretty much about English being racist against Indian, when in-fact the movie showed some real racism and cliched views towards the English. I am an Indian living in London and I was quite embarrassed really. And I really think they chose this angle because the makers of this film lack imagination and any real talent.
this film was fun to watch but its has a weak storyline.
I thot this film was boring, th story kinda drifted. If u love football u lyk this film.
I watched half of it then cudnt b bothad with th rest of it.
John Abraham..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lol

If you are 13yrs old, have John Abraham posters on your wall and know you will marry him someday then this film is for you.
Otherwise this is another predictable film which has no substance. The only originality is its filmed in England and its theme is football.
I am not saying that every film requires originality but some more thought into the story would have been good.
Some of the songs are ok but otherwise not very good.
I spent the whole film pointing out the areas I know in Southall (which is where the film is shot) and dreaming of Bipasha Bassu.
i was trying to put off watching this as i didn't realise it was so much about football, but i am so glad i watched it and and now going to buy it too it is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is for those who love johns abbs and good does he work out and being that he is football made if you are you will love it and baps is a bonus too
just an ok film - with absolutely no reason to exist. john abraham just seems to have worked on his body and film is all about show-casing that...quite disappointing to say the least.
I wonder what bollywood directors have got against people in the UK. This is not the first time that a bollywood movie has been made that shows extreme racism against Indians living in the UK. If this were to be the case, do you think Indians would have settled in this country in the past 8 decades ? And do you think Indians would have made up one of the largest ethnic minorities in this country?
I am an Indian living in London and it pains me to say that movies like these portray us as suffering peasants living under the control of feudal lords, gasping for life. But the reality is that I have found people here to be the most tolerant towards other cultures and this is one of the reasons why Indians have done so well and contributed so much to the society here.
This is my message to the directors making movies like this one, have a close look at the lives of Indians working here before you choose a storyline that tries to show Indians being made a victim of racism.
In effect, this is a very misleading and unrealistic movie, it certainly should not be watched !
This one started off a little slow and was starting to get a little boring but second half was really good! Edge of the seat for the footie games and it was easy to really gel with the characters. Different, in a good way
