    Family drama

Good DVD – running time 2.27hrs, with no obvious gaps or missing songs. Strong story about a woman who is abandoned by her lover and who subsequently herself abandons her illegitimate child. Good performances all round, not just from the leads but also from the supporting actors and child actors (including a particularly charming toddler). Some good songs from N Datta - singers are Lata, Asha, Mahendra Kapoor, Rafi, and Sudha Malhotra.
