At last - a rental I'd consider buying!

If you're into your driving games, then give this a go, you won't be disappointed!
Visually its excellent, has a good and varied selection of cars and real life sponsers which all help to make it feel that bit more realistic and easy to keep track on your progress through the game - as you progress more and more cars and sponsers are unlocked.
This is the first rental game that I'd actually go out and look to buy, as I'd love to have the time to finish it...
On the downside, its a little easy, and quite 'samey' (theres not that much difference between Rally X and Dirt track Truck racing for instance), and finally its really disappointing that some of the race series can only be got at by buying them from PSN - which is a total con, when you buy a game with hard earned cash, you buy the full game don't you? If I were to buy a new car, I wouldn't expect to only get 3 wheels with the 4th being an optional extra!
As I said though, a thoroughly very good game, and if it came down to sub £15, I'd snap it up....- Was this review helpful to you?

Good Fun, Endless entertainment

Good but a little samey
By bigpmc (5 reviews) from Middlesbrough , 04 Apr 2012First off, this is a good game, dont get me wrong-the graphics are nice, as are the car physics and handling. The only downside is that the career mode seems to be race on snow, dirt or gravel repeat ad nauseum. There are a few mini game type things, but progress through the career becomes boring pretty fast since there isnt much difference between the car classes or their feel or race types.
Good for a rental for a week or so, wouldn't buy though- Was this review helpful to you?

meh, not too bad

i love racing games but rally bore's me.
