My All Time Favourite Hitchcock Film
By a customer from Derby, England , 14 Sep 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
What an absolute stormer of a thriller. From start to finnish I was hooked on this film. I remember seeing this as a young man and being spellbound by the actors brilliant portrayal of the characters. Ray Milland is the real star of this murder mystery. The thought put into the murder actaully makes you want him to get away with it. Grace Kelly plays a woman trapped in a web of her husbands lies extremely well (why anyone married to Grace Kelly would want to have her killed is beyond me). This was originally a 3D movie (as the extras will tell you) but transfers so well.
If you like you murder mysteries (Poirot, Ms Marple, Midsommer Murder, Jonathan Creek etc) you will adore this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not an ideal husband is he?
By paulypops (1 review) , 29 Mar 2013It's a Corker! Fans of Agatha Christie will love it. It seems wrong to say that but comparing it to modern remake of a Poirot will get it a new audience.- Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting in 3D
By CelticDave (2 reviews) from Leicester , 06 Mar 2013I was intrigued when I'd heard Hitchcock originally shot his in 3D so I thought I'd give it a go. The 3D is carefully thought through and works well adding to the claustrophobic atmosphere of the setting. Maybe not Hitchcock's greatest film but a well written, well acted tense murder-mystery nonetheless.- Was this review helpful to you?

Cat and Mouse
By steamRobot (3 reviews) , 05 Feb 2013Excellent thriller from Hitchcock with a wonderful game of cat and mouse between Wendice and Hubbard. The opening is particularly strong. It's also good to see the intermission card in its place.- Was this review helpful to you?
