Anne Frank
By lancaster (12 reviews) from Northampton , 20 Sep 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Not being able to rate this film by 'clicking' on the stars (Exactly nothing
happens !!!) I feel that perhaps a review is in order. Having seen what
must be most of the fims, mostly documentaries, on the subject, my
conclusion on this one is that the 'feel' is just about right. Of great
interest to anyone with any knowledge of the plight of the Jews and the
brutality of the Nazi regime, but, like Schindler's List, a somewhat
inventive script. Acting throughout is first class, sets excellent and story
gripping. Well worth a look - but allow for some obvious inaccurasies,
otherwise, enjoy, and thank your lucky stars Germany was defeated.- Was this review helpful to you?

(22)Walt Disney says it all
By a customer , 12 Apr 2013Gave up watching this as I didn't like the american accents and sugary sweet music. The diary of Anne Frank is a very poignant piece of writing and the film in my opinion trivialised the period in history.- Was this review helpful to you?

An excellent portrail of a true story
By MAH76 (21 reviews) from Brighton , 05 Jul 2011A classic wartime true story excellently acted out by some fine actors.
The cast really get behind the story and show the emotion that was written in Anne's diary.
A must see for any WW history enthusiasts.- Was this review helpful to you?

The best film version I've seen of Anne Frank's story
By Umsh (13 reviews) from xxx , 09 Jun 2011This is my absolute favourite film version of the 'Diary of Anne Frank'. I watched it many years ago after having just read her book, and I was struck by how accurate it seemed to be at the time. I rented it and appreciate it just as much now as I did before.
What a truly horrible thing that happened to her, and I think this version tells her story well. Even to the ugly ending as best as can be known.- Was this review helpful to you?

can't really answer ...
By AlyMcLean (1 review) from Port Glasgow , 17 Aug 2009i can't really review this film honestly because the quality of the cd was absolutely shocking. However, I did get the 'jist' of the film and having some knowledge myself anyway was able to follow it ok. Just wish the quality was better.- Was this review helpful to you?
