Based on most reviews I was expecting this to be a miserable experience (I have a Cineworld pass, so I'm quite happy to try out stuff that might not always cut it) but to my surprise I did laugh out loud on a couple of occasions... and made it through to the end. If you find Grant or Parker irksome this film won't change your mind - in fact their characters teeter on loathesome and/or punchable on numerous occasions. I had very low expectations but by the end i felt it would have been churlish to actively hate a lightweight, harmless film like this one.- Was this review helpful to you?

(247)Did you hear about the Morgans? A great family film.
By a customer , 25 Mar 2013I liked this film and so did my husband. He liked it so much hebought it. It's easy going and a film the whole family can watch. It has light humour and you find yourself laughing with the characters. It's nice to sit down and relax with without worrying if there is something in there that might offend someone or not be suitable for children. It's a nice, happy, funny film. Give it a go.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dismal Film
By Greenseale (5 reviews) from Brighton , 04 Feb 2013Probably the worst film I have seen for a long time. I like Hugh Grant in all the other films I have seen but although he tried his best this film was dismal- Was this review helpful to you?

Rubbish rubbish
By Romcomstu (2 reviews) , 18 Nov 2012Absolute tripe. I didn't switch it off though so one star for mindless 'entertainment'. Hugh Grant plays Hugh Grant as usual.- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't Bother!
By a customer , 16 Sep 2012If it hadn't been for Mary Steenburgen and Sam Elliot, this film would have been unwatchable. Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker were wooden and had no chemistry. Slow to start, even slower in the middle, the best bits were the scenes with Elliot and Steenburgen!- Was this review helpful to you?
