Digital Video Essentials

Used to be your TV was a box that plugged in and maybe you had to fiddle with the antennae a little to get the picture right. Now digital TV systems - plasma screens, high definition TV and home theater systems, etc. - offer such a wealth of options and extras, it almost seems you have to have an advanced degree in technology to run them properly. DIGITAL VIDEO ESSENTIALS breaks it all down into a comprehensive, step-by-step instructional package that you can play on your screen as you properly calibrate and set up your system. Why bother sinking money into your system if you, for example, can't properly balance colors on the screen PLEASE NOTE: RED,GREEN AND BLUE COLOUR FILTERS WILL NOT BE SENT WITH THE DVD

    Poorly put together

This disc is very poorly put together. For a production that deals with such 'professional' issues it seems hard to believe that it's such a pain to navigate.

It's also full of 3rd rate CGI and spends too long on each topic.

It has some good test cards, but that's about the only positive thing I can say for it.
