Dilbert is a true classic cartoon! Do yourself a favour and rent it! disappointed there is only 4 episodes per disc however. A really cleaver, enjoyable and entertaining cartoon series!
This is a superb animated version of the classic Dilbert cartoon strip.
Do yourself a real favour and take an alternative look at the world - from Dilberts persepective! Hes the thinking mans Homer Simpson - well almost!
Checkout www.dilbert.com and http://dwlt.net/tapestry/ for more info on Dilbert, his lifestyle, colleagues and friends.
Dilbert loves technology for the sake of technology. In fact, Dilbert loves technology more than people. He's got the social skills of a mousepad and he'd rather surf the Internet than Waikiki (which, considering the physique he developed after years of sitting in front of a PC screen, is a blessing).(Quote from Dilbert.com)
As a fan of the comics, I loved the transition to video. All the regulars are there: Dilbert, Alice, Wally, Pointy-Haired-Boss, Dogbert, Catbert, Ratbert, Asok, Loud Howard, Bob the Dinosaur, the Garbage man... even the Elbonians make an appearance.
Fresh and different from the comics, yet remaining faithful, the gags come thick and fast. While not always laugh out loud humour, the realisation that it isn't that different from real life brings a smile to your face.
The characters are well voiced too, particularly Dogbert, who is more cunning and funnier than in the strips.

Dilbert lovers will love it, I thought it was pretty good although I am sure that when it was shown on TV there were more espisodes. Could just be me though:-)

Anybody on the slippery road to management should view these episodes, Dogbert playing the role of uncaring corporate boss/consultant/exploiter to perfection. Occasionally one or two episodes drag a little in the middle, but this is made up for by excellence in other episodes.
I love Dilbert. In fact I think Scott Adam's strips are the only syndicated comic-strip that is actually funny. Garfield is amusing - but Dilber is actually funny. Sometimes hysterically so. I am such a fan I sat through this entire series even though it is a stain on the Dilbert name. It is a real shame, because the animation is good and the voice acting is spot on (these people seemed born to play these roles) but up on screen the humour seems weak and minor and the series doesn't bring anything else to the table and take on a life of its own. You snigger every now and then and are mostly content but in the end it just seems so pointless. Sigh.

Where are the rest of the episodes, Season 1 is 13 episodes, not 8. Where are the rest? There should be at least one more disk in this set.
