Converting casual PC games to handheld formats is all the rage these days, and Diner Dash from Eidos happily follows the trend. If you've ever been in the food service industry, you know it can be hell. Moody customers, constant stress, the feeling that you're always flying by the seat of your pants??it's enough to give anyone a nervous breakdown. But don't let that put you off Diner Dash! After all, we imagine being in a shoot-out probably has its moments of stress, but it doesn't put us off shoot 'em ups. Diner Dash hands you the responsibility of keeping restaurants running smoothly. You'll need to seat, serve and bill your customers in the shortest time possible to avoid the worst of all possible happenings in the world of the restaurateur: a walkout. Naturally you'll want to make it all seem as effortless as possible: nobody likes a flustered waiter. Diner Dash comes complete with over 70 different levels, six new restaurants and eight new customers. It also supports networked play. If you're the type to complain when you're steak's a bit cold or you've had to wait a couple of minutes too long for your soup, give this a go. See how your waiter feels.

Loved it.....

This game was highly addictive. Flo runs a diner and new features are added as you go along to tax her skills in running a smooth shift.

I don't have time to play lengthy adventures so this game was just what I was after - I'll definitely be buying this one!

my wife hired this game and completed it in a week but she said it is user friendly for children and they would enjoy it

Strangely addictive

There are no exciting features to this game and initially I was disappointed and bored by it but it was strangely addictive in the end! I had to send it back just to stop myself from playing the same thing over and over again, you know that things are bad when you start dreaming about having to make sure you serve everyone on time! Wouldn't recommend it necessarily but it provided pointless entertainment for a brief while!
