Golden oldies

The seamless art of Dire Straits ... two shows edited together and the only difference is Knopfler's shirt. Turn up the sound, relax and admire these good ol' boys.

Superb guitar playing that could only be Dire Straits

I had already bought Sultans of Swing but this DVD is even better. Mark Knopfler makes playing the guitar look effortless and sound sensational.

Dire Straits on the night

If you like Dire Straits, or this type of heavy rock music you will love this one, all of the DVD features a live concert...very watchable!

CRUISE MODE!!

I was so looking forward to this. Maybe my expectations where too high, but I felt this was all rather dull. All the songs where played in my opinion - in 3rd gear. Where was the 'fire', where was the 'zing'? Where was 'Sultans of Swing & 'Telegraph Road'?

I measured this by 'Alchemy'! No contest! Excellent musicians - shame they phoned in their performance.

once again nor a bad dvd but have seen better from this group good sound tracking and lighting all in all a average dvd

Fabulous Dire Straits

Excellent concert coverage by the group, with some of their best work on offer. If you have the CD you will love the DVD!

Fantastic !

What can you say about such a masterful performance? Should be compulsory viewing on every music degree course. Superb, Knopfler at a point in his career where the guitar looks to be a part of him ! From this period on he just gets better and better.
