The series starts as Kei and Yuri are unwillingly made partners by the WWWA, and a dying man gives Yuri a data card and makes her promise to keep it out of the authorities' hands. Anime fans beware
I rented this because I thought it was something else (I was temporarily unable to remember the name of Dominion Tank Police).
Initially it was quite amusing, the animation was okay and the story, while not great, had the potential to get better as the series went on. However, the 2nd episode was where it started to go downhill and by the 3rd I was starting to think I'd made a mistake. The story was boring, the characters not very interesting and the ideas few and far between. I was determined to see it through but I have to admit to fast forwarding through most of the final episode.
According to a friend (who usually knows about these things), Dirty Pair was actually written by an English guy. Once you know this the reasons for the flaws in this series become apparent; the guy is trying to write like a Japanese person. Unfortunately, he fails. -

boring
I usually quite enjoy anime and manga style cartoons but found this one to be boring and unoriginal.only for dedicated fans.
