With a whole host of living legends, in the form of Tina, Elton, Cher and Chaka Khan, this evening promised to add a bit of Rock and Roll and guts into the Divas format. And with upcoming divettes, such as Leanne Rimes and Brandy with her blisteringly soulful performance, keep a touch of the old skool soul.
Tina shone. And shimmied. And barked. And Elton kept the musical machine rollocking at the piano with fierce force. Whitney and MaryJ had a hollering contest, and as everyone knows, Whitney always wins them. And for me the most touching part of the night was old skool diva legend Miss Chaka Khan belting out over the top of all the wannabe divas, and showing Whitney was SHE was the diva OH the day.
as expected anything from the rap and hip-hop era is rank nasty jungle-bunny music...... utter garbage
