Many great westerns have been made but none of them as cool as this one. The film is full of memorable characters with Christoph Waltz and Samuel L Jackson being particularly awesome whenever on screen. Tarantino's wit is also present, especially in a hilarious klu klux klan scene, not something you'd ever think you'd use to describe the klu klux klan but it was very funny. There the usual violent scenes a plenty with some especially awesome and bloody shoot outs. It's an epic story but I didn't notice how long it was because it was so well written and played out by the entire cast.- Was this review helpful to you?

The D is silent!!

If your leinient to the use of the n-word and don't mind relentless violence then by all means... WATCH THIS FILM. As always tarantino casts every role perfectly (all but himself) of these i loved jamie fox who transformed the beaten slave into a 'cool blooded' killer. Waltz as always is brilliant but dicaprios slimy plantation owner and sidekick (SLJ) really steal the show. Find a comfy sit and enjoy 2hrs 40 of genius.- Was this review helpful to you?

Provides everything a movie should on a Friday night.

I loved (and hated - in a good way) the characters, with Christoph Waltz stealing the show for me personally. The film was witty, gritty, bloody and everything you expect form a Tarantino movie and more, as who would have thought he could and would take it to the wild west liberating slaves! The cast was perfect, even forgiving Tarantino's dodgy Australian accent! Django provides everything a movie should on a Friday night.- Was this review helpful to you?

LOVED IT
