Nostalgia for Python and David Jason fans

Some Monty Python stars do star in this series and David Jason shows he is among the best of the gang. Aimed at a younger audience than 'At last the 1948 show' it's humour is a more crazier style than Python and survives the traces if time. The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and the serial 'Captain Fantastic' add further enjoyment to the sketches. Made by Rediffusion Television, just a short while before it was taken over by ABC Television and re-named Thames Television, it's a pity the ITV station did not make more programmes - but then if it did perhaps we would not have had Python.
