Fabulous stuff - as someone who is old enough to (just) remember the originals, Ian Bannen is perfect as Dr. Cameron although I always preferred Bill Simpson as Dr. Finlay.
I am reading A.J. Cronin's book of Dr. Finlay's adventures at the moment & the programmes bear a good resemblance to the original stories.
Good old-fashioned nostalgia - love it!
