Could have been a great deal more

There are plenty of interesting mythological, Alan Moore type overtones to this epsiode, but the unbearable dialogue and poorest special effects of the Bargain basement McCoy era, drag this one down too far to be enjoyable to anyone, except people in their late 20's who only like it due to some muisguided, rose tinted nostalgia. Of which I'm guilty, anyone else would give this 1 star at most.
