Three of THE Very Best Episodes ever!

This is an awesome dvd since it contains two of the finest stories from the new series of Doctor Who:

'Human Nature' and 'The Family of Blood' is a two part tale adapted from a previously published novel. It has a deep story, romance, excellent effects and some brilliant acting all round.......and there is a very poignant ending!

'Blink' is a superb story written by Steven Moffat. Anyone who thinks back to Series1 'Are you my mummy?' and has chills down their spine, is in for a treat from the same writer. Although the Doctor and Martha have only a small part in this story, it is a brilliantly conceived and quite scary piece of entertainment. 'Don't blink, don't turn around, don't look away. Blink and you're dead!'

    Absolutely fabulous!

    Simply the Best

I've watched Dr Who for, can it really be, the last forty-four years. Of course there really is no comparison between classic Dr Who and the new series - frankly as I've said elsewhere the final years of the old series were fairly terrible. Here is what I know 'The Family of Blood' is simply the best episode of Dr Who ever produced - end of story. Blink is terrific too.

Weisz goes back to Egypt for Agora

    • 14 Mar 2008

She may have battled The Mummy for the last time but it seems Rachel Weisz is not done with the Land of the Pharaohs just yet, having reportedly signed up to star in ancient Egyptian thriller Agora. Weisz, whose other hits include Enemy At The Gates, About A Boy and The Constant Gardener, will be joined in the film by Syriana's Max Minghella, Variety says. Max is the son of Anthony Minghella, the writer/director behind The English Patient and The Talented Mr Ripley. Agora is set in fourth... Read more
