This is an awesome dvd since it contains two of the finest stories from the new series of Doctor Who:
'Human Nature' and 'The Family of Blood' is a two part tale adapted from a previously published novel. It has a deep story, romance, excellent effects and some brilliant acting all round.......and there is a very poignant ending!
'Blink' is a superb story written by Steven Moffat. Anyone who thinks back to Series1 'Are you my mummy?' and has chills down their spine, is in for a treat from the same writer. Although the Doctor and Martha have only a small part in this story, it is a brilliantly conceived and quite scary piece of entertainment. 'Don't blink, don't turn around, don't look away. Blink and you're dead!'
Absolutely fabulous!
This disk contains in my mind one of the best Who episodes to date 'Blink'. Scary and compeling as a good ghost story can be but it is much more then that in whole as an episode with very little of the Doctor in and still it carries it self well.
On a side note its was great to watch with my 15 year old son who like all teenagers who can get access to modern scary movies classes himself unshockable, and to watch him jump in his seat by an episode of Doctor Who brought back memories of myself.
Prob the best stuff being produced by the BBC at the moment IMO.

Max is the son of Anthony Minghella, the writer/director behind The English Patient and The Talented Mr Ripley. Agora is set in fourth... Read more
