I had to watch the whole of the DVD in one go, mainly because it contains the best story of the series and the best companion. The weeping angels and Riversong. Not keen on Amy Pond and the rest of the series didn't match this. The other story set in venice wasn't bad.

Oh, dear, I enjoyed the previous episodes but this is so completely filled with cheeky asides and jargon that you have to be a total geek to appreciate this. I have always fancied Alex Kingston but there is probably too much emphasis on her character - I never quite saw the point of Riversong anyway, apart from the fact that she is played by someone delectable ! Not really much story in any of the three episodes, just a lot of running around and scientific mumbo-jumbo- the Venice episode isn't really that scary considering it contains vampires - their teeth look like they have been supplied by a low-budget joke store. Still, there are occasionally good moments amongst the padded-out malarkey

  • Oh Mr Tennant... Wherefore art thou...??

He's not Mr Tennant, that's for sure... However, it doesn't help when he's not the only thing to of been changed! A poor mix of some good, and mainly bad writing, has really made Matt Smith's job even more harder! My kids were both avid Doctor Who fans, but they have really lost interest since these changes... I think it's too much too soon, and that's a real shame. So don't feel too bad Mr Smith, it's not your fault!
