Doctor Who Da Man!

Doctor Who is my life, apart from actually living and relationships its my life.
I have been a fan pretty much since its revival and since i was born in the dark ages when it wasnt on (88) i had to wait until the '96 movie to get what the fuss was about.
I am not really a fan of the RTD years despite that getting me hooked, felt just too happy childs show. Moffats episodes where always the ones to watch and the day i found out he was show runner i couldnt of been more excited.
Series 5 was a bit fo a mix between his direction and a safe stay to RTDs era, but series 6 is a blow away and a straght sail into the future of Who and boy is it bright! or dark and grimy!
like all series there are swing and miss episodes, Mark Gatiss's episode being the stand out one. But the series highlightgs are Moffats opener and closer and sleeper hit Closing Time which is hysterical.
Matt Smith is clearly the man for the role, a true alien type with flashings of brilliance, old age and manic humour. A great actor who will go far. Arthur Darvill is standout for his amazing performances, really stepping up to the plate in a big way.

(2)Dr. Who - My Review
By DaddyTank (203 reviews) from Ulan Bator , 21 Oct 2012The point at which the BBC realised they have something brilliant on their hands. Goodbye rubbish actors, goodbye rubbish effects and goodbye Russel T Davies. Even the bad episodes are worth watching for Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. The only low point is having to watch James Corden who is utterly pointless and as funny as IBS.- Was this review helpful to you?
