(12)Solid Doctor Who story
By a customer from Yorkshire , 31 Aug 2009This is nothing more than solid, although the story is a good one, being, as it is, in the hands of Robert Holmes. Can this man put a foot wrong? It is not the best made Doctor Who story ever written though. I wait to see whether the Key to Time season improves with each adventure.- Was this review helpful to you?

Six segments of adventure
By who2009 (2 reviews) from Stockport , 26 May 2009The Ribos Operation, The Stones of Blood & The Armageddon Factor are my personal favourites from the 'The Key to Time' series.
Overall this collection of stories work well. There are plenty of special features for each story.
I recommend this era of Dr Who.- Was this review helpful to you?

Classic Dr Who
By a customer from North Yorkshire , 23 Mar 2009As a man of a certain age this has been a fantastic trip down memory lane, but as a bonus my 9 year old son now thinks of Tom Baker as the 'proper Doctor Who'. Just goes to show that you don't need all the modern CGI and other FX on a Sci-Fi series. Imagination still has a place. I would recomend it to all.- Was this review helpful to you?

baker still rocks
By a customer from Chester , 05 Feb 2009well i was only six when thiswas first broadcast so story arc etc etc didnt matter to me just action and seeing the tardis and k-9
this is a great story and quiet touching in some places
the thing that i realise about classic who the more that i revisit it is that there are some great stories out ther and its a shame that due to tight budgets and poor production values they can never be retold in the new who format !
unless of course the doctor can revisit old adventures?
it is after all possible without the interfering timelords !!!!!!!
the key to time is a great season baker hams it up and douglas adams and the production team with star wars iinspiration send who into a different direction still can,t dicided which incarnation of romana i prefer ?
baker for me will always be the best doctor !
david tennant can be seen channeling the baker performance and this comes everytime i revisit old baker adventures- Was this review helpful to you?
