    Well done Mr. T. Davis

Never watched the past doctor who series so can't give comparison. However, this series really does stand alone very well. Russell T. Davis has written another good 'un, and the mix of comedy/drama/action/sci-fi and wierdness is just right. Good chemistry and performances from the leads.
