Fast, funny, scary and beautifully acted.
christopher eccleston what a dr, second only to tom baker, this new series is a mind blower, i've never enjoyed a series so much, billie piper was an inspired choice for the role of rose, i dont know how they can top this, just the right mix of humour and horror, excellant, this is a much watch series.
Never watched the past doctor who series so can't give comparison. However, this series really does stand alone very well. Russell T. Davis has written another good 'un, and the mix of comedy/drama/action/sci-fi and wierdness is just right. Good chemistry and performances from the leads.
Sigourney Weaver's Alien heroine, Ripley, has beaten off Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck to top a new sci-fi film poll Weaver's Ellen Ripley came out on top of the Sci-Fi Woman Of All Time list collated by website Totalscifionline.com.
