I've never been Dr Who fan, and this is my first experience with the series, and I've been pleasantly surprised.

The casting is well done, Christopher Ecclestion plays the dark brooding role of the Dr well and watching his relationship with Rose grow is something I look forward to seeing in the series. Billie Piper is growing on me give her more time and I think that she could really excel in the role.

The Dr's determination to save the world without losing Rose is a admiral trait one that can only end badly.

Rose's indecision between who she wants to be with, (anybody but Mickey it seems) is understandable as she is a young woman who is looking for something more in her life but you can't help but feel for Mickey.

Jackie's obvious love for her daughter is a apparent, when she makes the Dr promise the one thing that he really shouldn't.

I recommend this to every one, so go watch the next disc.
