Hugely entertaining

I doubt that the producers of the proposed 'Terminator Rampage' film will appreciate this - their stills show a giant Terminator and yet here in this story we see a giant Cyberman stalking nineteenth century London! Very entertaining, the best of the Xams specials to date in my opinion, and when you remember how good the previous ones were you'd realise how good this one is.

Dr Who - The Next Doctor

Rather disappointing. Like trying to wade through thick fog to begin with - all very confusing and not what we have come to expect from David Tennant.

Very good episode!

A very good episode, but it does get silly in the last 15 minutes.

But anyway still very good :)

Silly fun!

I don't like DR WHO but i decided to watch this one cause of Dervla. I enjoyed it which i was suprised about.Tennant and Morissey were good as the doctors and it was worth watching once but thats about it. Worth renting but don't buy unless your a fan!

The Next Doctor

Seeing as i love doctor who and giving the fact that i missed it at christmas i wanted to watch this. I have to say i was not dissapointed David Tenant is a great choice for the doctor and its a shame that he is only going to be making a few more. My advice if you like doctor who or david tennant (who i have met) then this film is for you so rent it.

Wonderful - plus extras

There was nothing about this I didn't like. It kept my attention for the entire episode - which is good, since even the regular episodes would have points when I felt uncomfortable watching (I'm too old to hide behind the sofa)

And the DVD extra! The Doctor Who Proms 2008 - what a beautiful celebration of the music behind the latest incarnation. **Spoiler** There is even a mini-mini-episode featuring the Doctor!

Off Beat and Brilliant

This is brilliant. The cybermen return and we are subject to a new element in their existence - this time controlled by a woman. David Tennant has really made the Doctor his role with fiery comments and a definite desire to protect the underdog and a ruthless determination to do so. Don't mess with him.

This time it is Ballykissangel star Dervla Kirwan and the Cyberman who try to ruin mankinds continued journey through life and once again the Doctor declares I can offer you an alternative... or I will have to stop you.

And we have an alternative Doctor playing the role of our favourite timelord complete with a sonic screwdriver that is simply a screwdriver. Who is this unmasked stranger? A future doctor...

So does our doctor win through - of course but we always knew that.
