    Classic TV reportage

Year Zero is Pilger at the height of his influence and top of his game. The documentary is a textbook example of how to make such films. The injustice of the situation unleashes a calm fury in Pilger. The camera work is superb. Still utterly compelling even if it is news many decades out of date. A good comparison with some of the shallow rubbish produced by TV news now.

    A Man of Great Integrity

It's all too easy to escape into Hollywood movies and forget the troubled world around us. John Pilger is one of the few people of courage and great integrity who remind us of where our priorities could lie, if only we looked beyond the popcorn. This collection of documentaries will wake you up if you dare to slumber. They should be required viewing for anyone interested in doing something to resist the pervasive global corruption that still rages on around us as we watch our DVDs.

great viewing for the open minded

The 4 dvds show important yet varied events that have shaped the world but have not always been in the public eye. John Pilger researches and presents his finding in a very objective format. He challenges the norm or what certain parties try to project as the norm to unearth some hidden agendas and truths.
