Inder (Akshaye Khanna), the only son of Mr. Satish Kumar (Anupam Kher) has just graduated from college and goes to another city for further education. One fateful morning, Inder sees a girl, Pallavi, (Jyothika) and falls in love with her. When Inder and his friends follow Pallavi, her brothers beat them up. With time, Pallavi falls in love with Inder and goes to see him in secret. But faced with such opposition they must make some difficult decisions for their love and their families.
