  If I'd bought it I'd feel ripped-off

  Very polished, Dolly doing what she does, and I couldn't fault it with my eyes closed. However, I was reduced to squirming with embarassment to see her mime on at least three instruments, possibly 4. She doesn't need to do that. It spoiled my enjoyment.

  Fair entertainment

  Recorded in Dollywood, Tennesee in December 2002, this is probably entirely typical of Dolly on stage. The content is reasonably varied, with a good number of her hits, an a capella medley, and a creditable version of Stairway to Heaven. If you can put up with (or even enjoy) Dolly's self-deprecating down-home humour ('It costs a lot of money to look this cheap', etc), it's fair entertainment. And spare a thought for the band, who have to put up with Dolly's jokes every night.
