    Delightful Don

    Brilliant minimal staging of Don Giovanni - with the focus entirely on the music and the characters - Leporello was a delight and Mark Padmore a very believable Don Ottavio.Peter Mattei as Don Giovanni was suitably charming, quite unscrupulous and beautifully sung... which doesn't mean to say that the women weren't magnificent -- they were!
