Dor

Dor is a story about love, loss, friendship, hope and ultimately, redemption. Dor has two principle characters that are from different walks of life but get bound together following certain occurrences. It's a story about Zeenat (Gul Panag), an independent, self-assured, married young woman, living in a remote Himachal Pradesh village and about Meera (Ayesha Takia) who abodes in rural Rajashtan and hails from a conventional Rajput household. The story questions us on how far one can go to save her/his love, fighting all odds, perhaps even destiny.

    Superb Movie - Must WATCH

Any Movie by Nagesh Kuknoor doesn't need extra exclamations. This is also not an exception. Wordful story, nicely picturised with good actors. Ayesha Takia has proved her acting skills, supported by Shreyas (Iqbal Fame) and Gul Panag.

Dor is a realistic and qualitative film that deals with touching emotions like love, betrayal, friendship, forgiveness and redemption. The film deals with an extremely touching and sensitive subject of two women whose lives are inextricably entwined through circumstances. The strength of these women to overcome the harsh realities in their path forms the crux of the story.

Director has also rightly portrayed the life of a widow in a rural village. In all its a kind a movie one should watch.
