  • Ok...ish

    [Highly rated reviewer]

I managed to get to the end and parts of it did make me smile if not laugh. You get the feeling that it could have been better and funnier if they hadn't tried to fit so much into a short movie. It shows potential but ultimately disappoints.

  • Not bad comedy. Light and undemanding.

A fairly enjoyable film without setting the world alight. Kept me entertained for an hour and a half and would recommend when you want something light and not too demanding.

If you just take it easy and get tuned to the sense of humour of the production, you will certainly enjoy it. It's fun!

  • The continuing decline of a once-interesting film-maker

    Rated - 1.0 star

A complete mess and no amount of wishing will make it otherwise: the film shifts uncomfortably from knockabout comedy to brutal knifings, and tries to take in just about everything that could possibly come between. Mixing three plots in a manner that initially makes you suspect it might be an old-fashioned farce, the film soon becomes straightforward irritating, with everyone involved apparently acting inside their own little bubble, and taking no notice of anyone else. DiCillo certainly doesn't know how to rescue matters, and the whole just tails off into nonsense. Even the title doesn't make sense.

Don't be too put off, this has still got that Tom Dicillo vibe about it. Obviously not as well realised as his other films but it's still very funny in places.'Nigga you ain't black'.

  • YAWN..!!

After the fourth attempt I managed to see this film to the end without falling asleep hoping in vain for maybe a clever twist or just something to make some sense of the previous ninety minutes of nonsense...I wish I hadn't bothered..

It's one of those films that makes you wonder how anyone could invest money in the it's production...

I can only think that the assumption was made that if it's got Liz Hurley in it you don't need to bother about a story or decent script...(Wrong..!!)

Maybe it was just trying to be 'pulp fiction' ish but failing miserably...

I've never been a Dennis Leary fan at all but I must admit he's the best thing about it..
