Should have been much more!

Was impressed with the start but story went no wher, and could have been so much more.

It was a short movie and seemed like they ran out of good scenes and so wrapped it up.

not as good as dracula 2001 but still an enjoyable vampire inspired story, lots of fight scenes and action. Ending is a little disappointing for a conclusion to the rest of the film but I am aware that there is a follow up. Worth watching for vampire fans but certainly not as impressive as the first film as its more predictable.

As a fan of the first film starring Justine Waddell and Gerard Butler, I started watching the film with the hope that the storyline would follow on from where the first ended. With Jonny Lee Miller and Justine Waddell's characters leaving the crypt in London, where the recently burnt Dracula has been reinterred into Van Helsing's crypt. However the producers/writers of Dracula II: The Ascension deemed it necessary to completely cancel out the ending of Wes Craven's film and start a completely different plot line. Which if it was a stand alone movie would have been perfectly fine, but as a sequel, it should really keep to the plot and storyline of the film that it follows.

If it had been a stand alone movie, this would have been an Okish horror movie, but as a sequel it wasn't great.

One of the worst horrors Ive ever seen,not quite as funny as Drag me to hell. Nothing can match Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing for the horror Genre . If you have an hour or two to spare dont waste it watching this.
