This was intended to be a sequal to Young Master, but somewhere along the way plans changed. Jackie took so long making this film that he almost had the rug pulled from under him. A bit of a dissappointment after his previous efforts, this still has some impressive fight sequences, especially the end fight in the barn.

Just one point. Yuen Bio does not appear in this film, even though he is credited on this page. Jackie's friend in this film is actually played by a stunt-man friend named Mars.

  • Pretty good

This jackie chan nearly at his best. The plot meanders a little but works in retaining your attention. There is not much traditional kung fu style in this one although JC and the other highly trained stunt crew perform many impressive feats. Would recommend to any kung fu or Jackie fan

A classic outing which is memorable for the football match with a shuttle cock. I've remembered that scene when I last saw this twenty years go. Number one son enjoyed the crazy stunts and laughs.

The sound and picture quality may be a little out-of-date; however, this movie remains enjoyable for family viewing. Even funnier that the English-dubbing sound very different from the English-subtitle! Other than that...another class of Jackie Chan in his early debut

  • Good Film

This film is one of Jackies best, i had it on video many years ago and enjoyed the story. The only thing that dissapointed me in the DVD version was the english dub. it has been changed from the original film on video, and this time the voices doesn't seem to play the characters as well as they used to, which were kinda cheesy lines in some parts of the film. Other than that the film is a must see.
