Very cute RPG

Having been a fan of the Final Fantasy series for years, I was bought this as a present recently. I have to say, it's really very good! The story is (so far) brilliant and the characters are engaging. The battle system is very similar to the earlier FF games and so I was in love very quickly (having been disappointed by the move away from turn-based battles..)!
My only problem with this game is that for some reason I can't work out, the characters talk in accents/dialects (I currently have one Scottish and one Russian...I think..) which is occasionally very irritating. This would be fine if you were listening but reading the passages is at times muddled because of words or phrases which make no sense unless you're familiar with Scottish phraseology...which I'm not...Move past that and this game's FAB! :-)- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Not for me
By a customer , 27 Apr 2011Perhaps this just isn't my type of game but I found it tedious and gave up very quickly. Perhaps it would be better on a different platform, but on the ds it was far from enjoyable. I will go back to the Professor Layton games.- Was this review helpful to you?
