The heading is wrong. It's probably two concerts worth. The music is good, the camera shots are good, no quick jumping from one shot to another, and the sound is good. The musicians are as you would expect from Dream Theater, excellent. The first Hour is the band on their own, which is great stuff. Then, the orchestra is introduced. At this point, I feared the worst, after watching the band on their own. But, my fears were unfounded. The orchestra blended in well and, did actually add another dimension to the music. At almost three hours long, the only criticism would be that you will probably have to pause for toilet breaks. The tracklist goes through just about every album released by D.T. if not all. This is as good as you'll get anywhere from any band.
This is essential viewing for any Dream Theater fan and is the final show of their world tour celebrating the 20 years they have been together. The highlights for me are the older songs from Images and Words, Awake etc... but there are some good unreleased tracks from sessions (I hadn't heard them before anyway) and a song from every one of their albums up to Ocatvarium.
They include an orchestra for part of the concert (which has been done to death now) but they manage to pull this off and keep it fresh sounding. Excellent disc!
