Won't be reading the book!
By lizziewall (14 reviews) from Pontyclun , 16 Sep 2012Arachnophobia with alien slugs! Very strange film, not sure if it was good or bad but definitely not what I was expecting! The background storyline of the best friends, like Stand By Me etc, was good, if they had edited out the weird alien rubbish the whole film could have been great.- Was this review helpful to you?

Absolute rubbish
By rednut39 (7 reviews) , 05 May 2012I cannot understand how anyone could like this film. I did watch it all the way through expecting it to get better but it didn't. It feels like one of those terrible low budget horror films with the 'creatures' coming off as tacky - worms with teeth! Terrible film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Scooby Dooby Doo, I'm sure this film will work for you!
By a customer , 28 Apr 2012As someone who had not read the book I was drawn to this film because of the previous success King's books have had when been transferred to film. I know that it can be sometimes disappointing when you have read the book and the film fails to live up to the expectations your imagination have created (The Beach springs to mind); but as this story was new to me I was just left in awe at the creative mind this author has.
The film has a star studded cast, amazing special effects and had me glued to the screen. Donny Wahlberg is amazing as 'Duds' and he must have put in an amazing effort towards preparing for the role. All in all, a quality film which is sure not to disappoint for a good night in. Good stuff!!- Was this review helpful to you?
