Full of beauty and humanity

Thoroughly enjoyed this film. As with all Bergman films it is beautifully shot and really seems to get to the heart of what it is to be human. A young couple have to fight against their backgrounds and the moral codes of the time to be together and to be accepted in to community they chose to live.
