We can't seem to get enough of Ryan Gosling and his latest offering, Drive, could be one of the best films of the year...

    [Highly rated reviewer]

    I'll keep this short.

I missed this at the cinema and am sick to my stomach that I did. possibly my favorite film of last year. Forget the reviews, just see the movie.

But to add a little more detail. There are a few heavy scenes, they are short and sweet and leave you gasping for breath. The plot is slow, heavy and addictive. The soundtrack is brilliant. It is directed by a european and......Ryan Gosling plays what could only be described and a crossbreed of zen master and Jedi.

This is a unique film in a time where most main stream stuff is done to death and pretty much mindless eye candy which leaves you feeling nothing.

Stop reading this review and rent the damm thing.

    P. S Ryan Gosling is tomorrows De Niro. Just watch a few of his films and you will understand why.

If you are a genuine film lover you will love this, if your favourite film is either transformers 2 or pirates of the something something (I forget now), leave this off of your rental list.

Not what I was expecting. For some reason thought it might be along the lines of The Mechanic but this is much more Kill Bill! There were scenes which were quite slow, romantic even followed quite quickly with extreme violence. Ryan's looks belied his capacity for destruction.

This isnt the most fast paced film but if you can stick with it its well worth a watch. It has an excellent soundtrack and some first class performances. It doesnt have much dialogue and can be slow at times but you just need to keep watching.

This is a film that for the first 45 minutes or so demands that you watch as opposed to enthralling you with the storyline. There were occasions when I thought that the dialogue had not been recorded or that I had hit the mute button almost taking me back to some of the films of the sixties. When it does move on, it's at a pace, was rather gruesome, but as part of the storyline was unexpected but kept me watching. Overall a bit different and some really interesting characters throughout.
